The illegal, un-constitutional, not Congress approved war against Libya, has cost us the equivalent to well over FIVE THOUSAND F-150 trucks in just two days!

Not only our principled Tea Party / Freedom Movement Representatives, but also the elite/bank Representatives on both sides of the isle of US Congress, admit that the federal government is broke and admit that we must curtail federal expenses soon or we will have a final financial catastrophe in our hands.

Yet, on the first few days of this new war they have managed to blow-up  the equivalent of at least five thousand eight hundred forty four (5844) F-150′s. 1 – 2

  • 4461  worth of Ford F-150′s in Tomahawk missiles in two days! 1 – 2
  • 1348 Ford F-150′s in a downed F-15 jet!

Yes, the undeclared Libyan war has cost us the equivalent of about six thousand F-150 trucks in just a few days. But wait… it gets much, much worse. According to the Congressional Research Service the USA, that is you and I, are spending about 14 thousand million dollars a month waging war in Iraq and Afghanistan. Take a moment to mull that figure and what it means; 14 thousand million dollars a month.

Lets figure what that figure means in real terms:

  • 14,000,000,000.00 / 22,415.00 = 624,581 F-150′s a month!
  • 624,581 * 12 months = 7,494,972 Ford F-150′s a year!

You read that right; the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, not counting the new Libyan war, are costing you and I the equivalent to over SEVEN MILLION F-150 trucks a year. Feel free to pause again, and think what that means.

What happens to a country that is willing to destroy, blow up, burn, waste, the equivalent to seven million brand new trucks a year waging war?

Many claim that the federal government is inefficient.  They are wrong; the federal government, in just two of our wars, destroys over seven million trucks a year.

That is:

  • 20,534 trucks a day.
  • 855 trucks an hour.

That is the power of the federal government; the power to destroy.

Perhaps numbers like these are what are fueling the people to join the Tea Party and Freedom Movement.

The good news:

  • The Freedom Movement Representatives at the federal level are rallying against these un-constitutional wars, and even some regular ones are joining them.
  • The Tenth Amendment / Nullify movement is achieving great results in their drive to educate our State representatives on The Tenth Amendment; it explicitly states the principle of federalism: powers not granted to the federal government nor prohibited to the states by the Constitution are reserved to the states or the people.
  • The Freedom Movement / Tea Party’s ideas of Liberty and Constitutionalism are spreading rapidly among all sectors of the American public.

The Tea Party philosophy is neither left nor right, it is Constitutionalist at its core. The Tea Party / Freedom Movement has galvanized American from all over the political spectrum to ask: “Where in the Constitution is the authority to do this?”

President Obama has started the Libyan war without Congressional authorization. That makes it an illegal and un-constitutional war.

  • Article I, Section 8 of the Constitution places the power to declare war on the US Congress and the US Congress only.
  • Article II, Section 2 assigns the president as the “commander-in-chief of the army and navy of the United States.” Nothing else. Note above  that the power to declare war is given to US Congress alone, while the president is only given the title of “commander-in-chief”.

If we are to obey the Constitution; no president, not Republican nor Democrat or from any other party can go to war without Congressional authorization. Period.

  • The 9th and 10th amendments to the constitution authorize the federal government to exercise the powers given to it in the Constitution; not an ounce more.  The 9th and 10th amendments assures that all other powers remain with us, the people and the States.

In case the government claims that we have abandoned our rights:

We declare: That while the government may have absconded lawful Constitutional governance, ”We the People’  have not abandoned our birth given, Constitutionally guaranteed rights.

Here we are, the Tea Party, the Freedom Movement, Americans from all backgrounds and party affiliations, we demand that the Constitution be obeyed. We demand that those powers not explicitly given to the federal government remain with ‘We the People’, and with our 50 Sovereign States, just as the 9th and 10th amendment explicitly provide.

We are not asking the 9 federal attorneys sitting at the Supreme Court to restore those rights to us. They have tortured the words in the Constitution into meaningless ‘interpretations’ and have favored the federal government that appointed them, over the people and the States.

As Jefferson said in 1798:

“whensoever …the federal government …assumes un-delegated powers, …nullification of the act is the rightful remedy.”

The people of the 50 Sovereign States in America are now electing State Representatives who are seeking to nullify un-Constitutional federal expansion of power.

The Freedom Movement / Tea party is supporting many candidates at the state level who are making State’s rights their main issue. Candidates like Republican Phil Moffett who is running for his party’s nomination for the Governor race.

Tea Party / Freedom Movement Representative from Texas on Fox News Talking about Libyan illegal war:

Judge Napolitano on the Glenn Beck show on Fox News interviewing Tom Woods, author of ‘Hamilton’s Curse’ and Kevin Gutzman, author of ‘Who Killed the Constitution?’ together they explain nullification pretty well:

There is no question that the president has overstepped his power by starting an undeclared war. Here is Joe Biden explaining how the president doesn’t have the authority to start war, and how war without congressional authorization should warrant impeachment:

In conclusion:

  • The president is not even bothering to have Congress declare wars anymore.
  • The president has started a war with Libya illegally.
  • The Cost of just the Iraq and the Afghanistan wars is the  equivalent to destroying 855 F-150 trucks an hour.
  • The Freedom Movement and the Representatives of ‘We the People’ are fed up and reclaiming their birth rights as enshrined in the Constitution.
  • The 9 federally appointed attorneys at the Supreme Court have provided no lawful relief.
  • The Tea Party / Freedom Movement is using the 9th and 10th amendment rights to bring power back to “We the People’ and the several States.
  • Spending and destroying the equivalent to 855 f-150 trucks an hour in two ongoing wars and starting a new, illegal war is a clear display of a federal government and presidency out of control!
  • We are non- partisan and include people from all political affiliations.

‘We the People’ declare:

That while the government may have absconded lawful Constitutional governance, ”We the People’  have not abandoned our birth given, Constitutionally guaranteed rights.
