Did Markos From DailyKos Order The Giffords Shooting?

Written by The DailySok.com

Wow.

No wonder the ultra-left spin machine is in total overdrive.

Ugly facts are surfacing about yesterday’s tragic shooting of moderate Congresswoman Giffords and despite the smoke screen quickly thrown up by such lefties as Paul Krugman from the New York Times who said, “We don’t have proof yet that this was political, but the odds are that it was. ”

What was that?

“We don’t have proof yet”, but don’t worry.

Proof and truth are never essential elements a good lefty spin campaign.

They just make it up as they go.

Krugman goes on to say she was attacked because: “she’s a Democrat who survived what was otherwise a GOP sweep in Arizona, precisely because the Republicans nominated a Tea Party activist.”

But it gets worse.  Much. Much. Worse.

A quick scan of the back issues over at the DailyKos unearths a rather damning article penned by none other than Markos himself back in 2008.

Markos goes on to to issue the following (instruction?) to his flock:

“Not all of these people will get or even deserve primaries, but this vote certainly puts a bulls eye on their district.”

Followed by this (call to action?):

“Of course, this takes more than just bitching about your frustrations on a blog

Other sources have identified the left using it’s old tried and true tactic of claiming to overhear crowds cheering.

As to Andrew Sullivan, on his DailyDish blog for the Atlantic, Sullivan posted an unconfirmed and anonymous claim from “a reader” who claimed to have heard people in a store callously saying that they were glad that a Republican could be appointed to replace the wounded Giffords. This “reader” also claimed that one of them said, “Well, that’s to be expected when you’re so liberal.”

But we’ve seen this tactic before, haven’t we? Identical claims made by comments of none other than ultra-lefty DailyKos blogger devtob, who we discussed yesterday here at the DailySok….
