The Freedom Movement’s Tea Party Was Right All Along! Goverment Unable to Stop – Check Points at Bus Stations!
Boris in Miami December 2nd, 2010

The Tea Party and the Freedom Movement have been right all along; the establishment and their government are unable to use common sense and stop themselves from growing the police state and control apparatus.

Many in the alternative media and the Freedom Movement’s Tea Party have been writing about the inability for bureaucrats to stop broadening the use of a system or device once they have implemented it in one place. Now the Freedom Movement is being proved right.

There are so many forces at work here; Bureaucrats want to feel useful and to increase the size of their budgets and organizations, businesses see these organizations as cash cows and lobby to have them spend more money on unnecessary programs, if the bureaucrats see their job as taking all risk away from you and I, they will try to do it to the best of their ability -and you see what that ability is with the useless porn-scanners as an example,- and most importantly, an unconstrained government will always grow and grow and grow.

The only way we are going to stop this madness is by demanding that the government respect the Constitution and the Bill of Rights there in. Otherwise the current police state will enlarge till there is nothing left of our already shredded rights.

The 4th Amendment demands that our persons and belongings be respected by all government institutions, it does not give them leeway or space for excuses, it is simple and straight forward, even a bureaucrat or black robed government attorney should understand it:

“The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.”

We have heard many people in the Freedom Movement offer alternatives to the porn scans and custody searches (they call it a pat down) at our airports.  We say that our job is to demand they cease and desist infringing on our rights; That they obey our Constitution.  The government has proved themselves to be completely lacking in common sense and logic.  These unconstitutional searches are nothing but security theater that does nothing but enrich those close to the establishment. We are certainly not more secure because of them, but we can could name the many people who are being fattened by the so called security system.  In reality it should be called the ‘enrich a friend’ establishment system.

I for one am not willing to negotiate my rights.  It is my 4th Amendment. It is not for them to take or for anyone to give away. I will not negotiate it in exchange for iris scanners, skinnier finger probes of my body, and definitely not for a very unconstitutional national ID.

The question we should ask ourselves is; Are we for the Constitution and the rule of law, or are we willing to negotiate it in exchange for lubed fingers?
