Benjamin Netanyahu takes U.S. offer to his Cabinet

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has presented to his cabinet a proposed American offer of security and political inducements in exchange for Israel agreeing to issue a new three-month partial West Bank settlement freeze.
The 90-day moratorium, if approved by the Israeli cabinet, will start in the next week or so, and will be retroactively applied to new housing in disputed West Bank land that was approved since the last freeze expired Sept. 26th, the Washington Institute for Near East Policy’s David Makovsky told POLITICO Sunday.
